It was finally the last day of senbatsu camp, the day when all would be decided. Not only would the chosen members be announced, but also, which Kisarazu would win. Win the pride of having better skills and the heart of a young girl.

“BEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!!!!!” rang the alarm clock loudly at 6:00 sharp, but no one was there to hear it. It stopped abruptly on its own, shamed by its inability to do its job. The silent room was empty. Its inhabitants were out practicing.

“Atsushi-kun, Ryou-kun?” asked, knocking at the door, “Are you there?” No response. She slowly turned the doorknob and peered in.

“Ahn? What are you doing?” replied a rather harsh arrogant voice.

“Waaaaaaahhhh!! Gomenasai!! Honto ni Gomenasai!!” Mel said with chagrin, bowing several times and flushing with embarrassment at her stupidity. She glanced at the sign on the door; the words mocked her, “Atobe Keigo, Kabaji Munehiro.”

slowly backed out, closed the door and sighed. Just when I wanted to talk to them too…She looked out the window from the hall, it was a great day for tennis. She smiled and decided to look for the twins outside.

Later, she found the brothers playing against each other in a fierce match. Mizuki was chuckling to himself while twirling his hair. Oshitari gave him a weird glance. Atobe was smirking and watching the match, completely absorbed. Kabaji stayed speechless at his side. ran up to them and asked how the match was going.

“Ryou-kun seems to have the upper hand for now,” stated Mizuki, “but I’m sure Atsushi will take control soon.”

“Sou…”

Aitsu dake, zettai makenai!” the brothers thought in unison. “I definitely can’t lose to him.”

The sun beat down hard on the players. The score was 5 games all at the moment, 45-30, Ryou. Then, all of a sudden, a crow from above shit and it fell over Ryou’s eyes and blinded him. Atsushi accidentally hit the ball really hard at him. Ryou screamed as he collapsed onto the ground in pain. His eyes stung and his stomach throbbed where the ball had hit. Atsushi quickly ran to him to try and assist him, but it was too late.  Ryou was gone... the twin brother was no longer there. He would never be there again.

“Kisarazu Atsushi wins by default, his opponent can no longer play.”

The funeral was the day after. The whole cast of PoT was there to see him off. Those who could manage made speeches but many were in shock.

The rest of the cast lived happily ever after, and of course Atsushi goes with !!
